Dwayne, Matt, Arthur, Aaron, Donte, Charles, Durrell

Aaron recently graduated from Loyola Blakefield high school. He spent his senior year running track and working at the White Marsh Movie Theater. While he was accepted at: St. Francis, West Virginia University, Mount St. Mary’s and University of Indianapolis he has chosen to attend Frostburg State Universtiy and will join the class of 2014. Aaron is more than ready to graduate from Boys Hope, and has been a great role model in the house for the younger scholars.

Matt is rising senior at Archbishop Curley, and the President of the Student Government. Matt is a key member of the track team at Curley, and enjoys his time as a member of that team. This summer Matt will work in a research lab at Johns Hopkins University. He maintains a partnership with the professor and the program. 
 
Dwayne is a rising senior at Loyola Blakefield and continues to excel both academically, socially, and emotionally at Boys Hope. Dwayne is always in competition for the highest GPA in the house, and currently holds a 3.7. Dwayne has recently passed his driver’s license and is participating in the Boys Hope driving program, which means he can drive himself to and from school and other activities. He also continues to stay active in school, this winter he was on the Ice Hocky Team and this spring he managed the Varsity Lacrosse. Dwayne was also recently the sound director in Loyola Blakefield’s theater event. Dwayne works at Wegmans, and continues to impress all of us with who he has become. Dwayne hopes to attend Notre Dame's and West Point’s summer leadership programs.
 
Arthur, a rising senior at Cristo Rey Jesuit, continues to grow and mature as a member of Boys Hope. While at Cristo Rey he works at Under Armor one day a week. Arthur is truely a sports enthusiast, and played basketball in the winter, and lacrosse in the spring. His coach often raves of Arthur’s raw athletic ability. Arthur is interested in attending a military academy when he graduates, and has visited Norwich Academy, and will be attending their 2 week leadership program this summer. 
 
Donte, a rising junior at Archbishop Curley, continues to work hard with his academics, and staff has seen a great improvement in Donte throughout the year. Donte plays basketball for Curley, and continues to work out with the football team. Donte is also has an internship at Johns Hopkins this summer. He had a great experience last year and is hoping to repeat. 
 
Durrell, another rising junior at Archbishop Curley, has made incredible strides in his maturity and understanding of Boys Hope and education. He is a quiet, bright leader in the house and at school. Durrell is part of the choir at Curley, and played on the football team in the fall. Durrell continues to improve on his study habits and is a joy to have in the house.
 
Charles, a rising sophomore, is our first scholar to attend Calvert Hall. He is doing very well academically and participates in Calvert Hall’s choirs. Charles participated on the track team at Calvert Hall this spring. Charles is applied for and recieved an Outward Bound scholarship that will take him out west for a few weeks this summer.
