Girls Hope Scholars

Milan, Shaolin, Cierra, Myesha, Nayai, Sonya

*Milan is a spirited 9th grader at St. Paul School for Girls. A talented ballet dancer, Milan is always pirouetting or in a grand jete! She is a conscientious student and is very involved with her family, especially her Mom, Lauren.
*Shaolin is a junior at Poly. A varsity cheerleader, she is self-motivated and dreams of traveling to France!  Shaolin excels academically, and as the oldest scholar in the girls house, she is the epitome of a great role model and supportive “older sister”.
*Cierra is the Secretary of her sophomore class at the Institute of Notre Dame. Soft spoken and thoughtful, she plays both the violin and the oboe. Cierra is always available to offer a smile and a hug.
*Myesha is also a sophomore at IND. She is a competitive athlete and a star player on the  varsity volleyball team.  While she aspires to become a doctor and researches different medical programs, she also has an excellent sense of humor and perfect comedic timing.
*Nayai a 9th grader on the step team at IND also plays basketball and soccer. She excels academically and has recently taken a strong interest in women’s rights and gender equity around the world.
*Sonya is an extremely bright  freshman at SPSFG.  Sonya enjoys dancing and singing as well as writing poems during her free time. Sonya brings a lot of energy and laughter to the Girls’ home!
